
Adenike Ajuwon
Google Policy Fellow
Adenike is a graduate of Law from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria who has an avid interest in intellectual property, Technology Law, internet policy and governance. She is also a member of the Internet Governance Ambassador Program. She has previously served as a student Clinician at the Women’s Law Clinic, Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan and provided legal support and to women and girls whose rights have been infringed on. Adenike is a recipient of the 2016 Ake Book and Arts Festival Book Grant.
She has written on issues relating to Intellectual Property in Nigeria, data protection and privacy. She is currently working on her research on the Growth of Tech Hubs in Africa.
Adenike is passionate about Technology, intellectual property Law and Internet governance and she hopes to apply her knowledge of law in these areas. She is an avid reader and has an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
Adenike is the Google Policy fellow at the African Academic Network on Internet Policy.
