Chukwuyere is a Senior Counsel at the law-office of Streamsowers & Köhn and research fellow at the African Academic Network on Internet Policy (AANoIP) where his practice and research interest focus on all areas of telecommunications, information technology, intellectual property and competition law. Chukwuyere has consulted and/or acted as lead researcher on several milestone projects relating to new regulatory and policy issues in the telecommunications industry. Chukwuyere is the author of Nigeria’s leading academic work on competition in telecommunications entitled Regulating Anti-competitive Practices in Nigeria’s Communications Sector, (Wolf Legal Publishers, Netherlands, January 2017). Chukwuyere is a member of the Internet Society (Member ID: 53887), BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) UK, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI) Nigeria Coalition (group leader of the spectrum, infrastructure sharing and open access working group).
Chukwuyere has an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Benin, Nigeria (2003), Barrister-at-Law professional certificate from the Nigerian law school (2005) and an LL.M in Information Technology & Intellectual Property Law (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Hannover, Germany (2009).
