Dr Lukman Abdulrauf is a lecturer at the department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. He is also, as of 2018, a postdoctoral research fellow with the South African Research Chair on International Constitutional Law, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, South Africa. Lukman completed his LL.B and LLM at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and the University of Ilorin respectively. He also completed his Doctorate (LLD) in 2016 at the University of Pretoria with a thesis on the right to privacy and data protection. Lukman has published nationally and internationally on data protection and privacy law. His research and teaching interests include international privacy and data protection law, surveillance law, information technology and human rights law and comparative law.
